CAIA Program
The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst program provides a broad-based curricula in alternative investments. The program covers the main areas of hedge funds, private equity, commodities, real estate, and managed futures.
The CAIA program is organized into two levels, with Level I covering foundations and Level II exploring a more in-depth treatment of trading strategies and decision-making. Both levels incorporate standards of professional conduct.
Exam Registration Process
Before scheduling an exam appointment, you must have already:
- Completed an exam registration form on the CAIA website;
- Signed the candidate agreement;
- Purchased an exam.
Scheduling
Note: Candidates who are interested in testing in Dublin, Ireland, please contact the CAIA Association.
If you have not tested with the CAIA Association before, please contact customer service to schedule your appointment by phone. Please contact CAIA if you do not know your username and password. Testing times and locations are available on “first come, first served” basis.
Nondisclosure Agreement
You will be required to agree to the Nondisclosure Agreement that will be presented at the beginning of your exam. Failure to read/accept the agreement within the allotted 5 minutes will result in your exam ending and a forfeit of your exam fees. Please take a moment to review the agreement now so that you are familiar with it when you sit for your exam.
